Growth in weightlessness

Plants always grow towards light. Apparently they always grow against the force of gravity. This was discovered by astronauts, who observed the plants in a space shuttle. Although the plants in space shuttles made an effort to grow towards light, they lost their orientation and ran riot in a confused way when kept in the dark. This was because there was no gravity to orient them. The same happens to fishes: they swim in a looping way in weightlessness!
