How was the background radiation discovered?

The background radiation is a small part of the electromagnetic radiation the originated in the Big Bang. The radiation also gets expanded with the expansion of space. For this reason, today the background radiation is present in the microwave range. This radiation was discovered by the American physicists Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson by chance, when they were working with a microwave receiver for communication with satellites in 1964. The receiver rustled more strongly than it should-just like a television set with a bad reception. After a year, it was discovered that the noise was a radiation from outer space, whose existence had already been predicted by experts.
